the proceeds handed over to it for the work in the Kwangtung

Province as desired by the Society. This has just been accomplished after a careful valuation of the property. The net sum paid to the trustees after deducting certain sums due to the Government of Hongkong was $292,103.70.

(b) That the properties of the Hildesheim Mission, namely

Blindenheim at Taau Kwong in Kowloon, and Ebenezer at Pokfulam should be sold and the proceeds handed over to the

Society at Canton as it was understood that the Society

wished to establish one central home for the blind at

Shak-hi.

(c) That the Rhenish Mission Society should be allowed

to sell all its property in Hongkong with the exception of

a house to be used as a Hongkong Office and residence for

the representative of the Hission and visiting members of

the Mission, and that the preceeds of such sale should be

used for the work of the Society on the mainland.

(d) That the Basel Hission Society should dispose of

its property as soon as proper arrangements could be made

for the proper maintenance of certain persons dependent on

the Society, and that the Society should be permitted to

have an office in Hongkong in charge of a representative of

the Mission.

не

The Rhenish Society desires to have as its representat-

ive in Hongkong, Mr. Genshr, who is a British subject, and

the Basel Society desires to have as its presentative in Hongkong the Reverend August Nagel, who has been a mission-

ary in China since 1894. There would appear to be no

objection to the above appointments.

In the case of the Hildesheim Hission it would be

desirable, if in connection with the sale of Ebenezer

(Rural Building Lot 136) at Pokfulam, arrangements could be made for St. Stephen's College to continue to occupy the

premises
